200 grams of flour
125 g cold butter
100 g of sugar
pinch of salt

Ingredients for the cake
200 g soft butter
200 g of sugar
1 packet of vanilla sugar
5 eggs
300 grams of flour
1 packet of baking powder
1 kg of self-picked medronhos
Powdered sugar or whipped cream

preparation
For the crumble, put all the ingredients in a bowl, stir and knead into coarse crumbs with your hands. Put the crumbles in a cool place.
Mix butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs in a bowl for about 5 minutes until creamy. Fold in the flour and baking powder. Put the finished dough in the greased baking sheet, spread the medronhos on it. Sprinkle the crumbles evenly over the dough. Bake at 180 ° C for about 40 minutes until golden brown. Serve with powdered sugar or whipped cream.
Gourmet tip
Depending on the season, you can vary with fruits and berries. Berries from berry fields are particularly tasty; in late summer it is worth looking for wild strawberries in the forest.
If you like crunchy crumbles: instead of 200 g, only use 150 g of flour and mix 80 g of oat flakes with the crumble mixture.
