Filip and Martha's cheesecake

Enjoyed with the ship's crew to bridge the wait for engine repairs

ingredients

  • 15 digestive cookies or petit beurre

  • 70 g butter plus butter for greasing the cake pan

  • 2 packs of Philadelphia

  • 200 g crème fraîche (Filip's tip: the more fatty the better)

  • 40 grams of sugar

  • 1 vanilla pod

  • 2 teaspoons of lemon juice

preparation

Grease the round cake tin. Melt the butter in a pan while roughly crumbling the Petit Beurre in a plastic bag. Put both in the cake tin and press them to a base. Mix all remaining ingredients well, scrape out the vanilla pod and add the pulp to the mixture. Spread the crème evenly on the petite beurre base and place the finished cheesecake in the refrigerator for a few hours (overnight).
